General Name: Pre-Inhibited Propylene Glycol based Heat
Transfer Fluid 50% Premix
Product Description:
50%
Premix Inhibited Propylene Glycol is used as an industrial coolant, antifreezeheat
transfer agent. The inhibitor package is designed to protect brass, copper,
solder, steel, cast iron, aluminum and other metals commonly found in the
industrial cooling and heating systems.
The
effectiveness of Inhibited Propylene Glycol in preventing
corrosion has been proven in extensive laboratory and in actual service tests.
Using Inhibited Propylene Glycol for heat transfer
applications instead of brine solutions or uninhibited propylene glycol reduces
maintenance costs and improves heat transfer efficiency.
Inhibited Ethylene glycol is more toxic than Inhibited propylene glycol. Ingesting a
small amount of ethylene glycol is far more dangerous for small children or
animals, for example, than ingesting a small amount of propylene glycol. Take
appropriate steps to prevent the ingestion of either ethylene or propylene
glycol, as well as new or used engine coolants containing these glycols.

Polymer is a large molecule (macromolecule) composed of repeating
structural units. These sub-units are typically connected by covalent chemical
bonds. Although the term polymer is sometimes taken to refer to plastics, it
actually encompasses a large class of compounds comprising both natural and
synthetic materials with a wide variety of properties.
Because of the extraordinary range of properties of
polymeric materials, they play an essential and ubiquitous role in everyday
life. This role ranges from familiar synthetic plastics and elastomers to
natural biopolymers such as nucleic acids and proteins that are essential for
life.
Polyelectrolytes
are polymers whose repeating units bear an electrolyte group. These groups will
dissociate in aqueous solutions (water), making the polymers charged. Polyelectrolyte properties are thus
similar to both electrolytes (salts) and polymers (high molecular weight
compounds), and are sometimes called polysalts. Depending upon the charge,
these polymers are anionic or cationic. Polyelectrolytes are available in a
wide range of molecular weights and charge densities. Homo polymers of acrylamide are also included in the
family of polyelectrolytes though they do not carry any charge.
RO Flocculant or Anionic Polyelectrolyte support the ROC
series of products. It is a liquid polymer designed to aid precipitation of
suspended solids such as iron oxide, mud and other soft foulants.
Chemtex’s RO Flocculants (Anionic
Polyelectrolyte) comprise a family of proprietary products, including anionic
emulsions and dry poly acrylamides,
which can be used wherever liquid/solids separation is needed in industrial RO
applications. To meet the demands of various treatment applications, such as
clarification and sludge dewatering, Chemtex’s RO Flocculants (Anionic
Polyelectrolyte) & ROCoagulants (Cationic Polyelectrolyte) are available. Flocculants from Chemtex
can increase pre-filtration efficiency and productivity in membrane systems for
RO feed water. It is a highly effective quaternary polymer compound which is

Cycling to work or school is a healthy and cost effective form of transport.
http://www.park-streetfurnishing.co.uk
Article : In today’s environment cycling to the workplace or school is a healthier way of travelling. Providing bike shelters in a commercial or educational establishment not only assists with healthy living but also gives the added benefit of helping the environment.
The physical and mental benefits of cycling daily for the individual are widely recognised. Some of the positive effects of regular cycling include a stronger immune system, increased physical fitness and improved ability to cope with stress – all of these lead to a healthier, happier workforce or student population, which of course in turn benefits schools and workplaces.
Some benefits for businesses It is fantastic that a company can have a fit and healthy workforce which provides its own benefits to the company but there are also benefits from a business point of view. A few examples of this are: • Freeing-up Space: More people cycling to work means they will need less space than car drivers. This will save you space and money. • Happy Cyclists: Providing good facilities to those that are already cycling to working could reduce staff turn-over therefore reducing recruitment costs. • Corporate Image: Encouraging people to cycle will also improve your corporate image and may help you obtain ISO 14,001 status for its environmental management system.
What you need to know about cycle shelters. When looking to add cycle parking to business premises here is a mini guide to help you understand what works. Cycle shelters should:
Be highly visible and signposted if necessary. Rather than hiding it away in the corner it should be something that you are proud of and want to promote to everyone. Have ease of access and be close to the final destination, this shows that you are serious about people using this facility and makes life easier for those who participate.
Be safe and secure, people should feel that their bike is safe when they are working or studying. We offer a range of different ways that you can ensure this in our tailored Design section below but this can also be achieved by CCTV, additional lighting and surveillance by security staff.
Be easy to use and easy to maintain. Appropriate spacing of bike stands will prevent cluttering and allow easy access to clean the area. This also includes ensuring there is enough room for all of the cyclists. This could be achieved via a small survey before deciding which cycle shelter to install to give you an idea of the number of current and future cyclists.
Have a route that is as simple and non obstructive as possible, there should be no barriers to its use caused by difficult road conditions or other safety hazards.
Offer an attractive design that compliments the building design and makes a statement about your commitment.
<a href="http://www.park-streetfurnishing.co.uk"target="_blank">cycle shelters</a> should not hinder anyone else’s access and comply with the requirements of the Disability Discrimination Act 1995.

Propylene Glycol come in use as a replacement of Ethylene Glycol in industrial applications keeping in mind the industrial safety factors. Further Green Colored Inhibited Propylene Glycol solves the corrosion problems and leakage issues.
General Name:Bright Green Colored Inhibited
Propylene Glycol based Heat
Transfer Fluid
Brine or glycol coloring agent is a unique
leak detecting instrument that is very easy and economical to use. Small amount
of ALSTA GLO added to the system turns the whole glycol, brine or coolant
solution to turn bright florescent green color. This color is unique in the way
that it starts glowing in presence of UV light.
Now have comes two questions in
mind - Why? And How? Especially when Propylene Glycol or Inhibited Propylene Glycolis used as heat transfer agent in food, beverage or brewery industries,
there lays a possibility of contamination even though Propylene Glycol is
harmless to our health up to a certain level. But to keep ourselves on the
safer side of the problem, something has to be done to detect the leakage of
Glycol from the system. But we are fortunate enough that it had already
done. Chemtex’s continuous
innovation blesses us with a perfect blend of Inhibited Mono Ethylene
Glycol or Inhibited Propylene Glycoland a colored leak detecting media. This media turns the
Glycol solution to fluorescent green or orange colored solution. So, whenever
there is any leakage from Glycol systems, it will be visible during the
daylight and even in the night time due to its fluorescent color.
The leak detection dye also has a
very special feature that can make it very easy to detect small pinhole
punctures or leakages at its very nascent stage before it takes a shape of a
large puncture or burst and cause production and maintenance havoc. This
special mechanism of the Brine
leak detectiondye is
its ability to glow in the dark in presence of UV light. However, the bright
green color of Colored Glycol
remains easily detectable whenever or wherever there is a leakage and thus
helps us to avoid unwanted contamination of Ethylene Glycol or Propylene Glycol especially
with food items and other chemicals used in the system.

Biocides and MicroBiocides are chemicals that prevent and eradicate unwanted biological fouling from the system. Biocides are of various nature such as oxidizing, non-oxidizing, cationic, anionic etc.
A chiller is a machine that
removes heat from a liquid via a vapor-compression or absorption refrigeration
cycle. This liquid can then be circulated through a heat exchanger to
cool air or equipment as required.
Cooling
towers are heat removal devices used to transfer
process waste heat to the atmosphere. Cooling towers may either use the
evaporation of water to remove process heat and cool the working fluid to near
the wet-bulb air temperature or in the case of closed circuit dry cooling
towers rely solely on air to cool the working fluid to near the dry-bulb air
temperature.
Biocides and MicroBiocides
are chemicals that prevent and eradicate unwanted biological fouling from the
system. Biocides are of various nature such as oxidizing, non-oxidizing,
cationic, anionic etc.Biological Fouling or
Biofouling is the undesirable accumulation of micro-organisms, algae and
diatoms, plants, and animals on surface, pipelines and heat-exchangers
of cooling systems. Bio-fouling can be of aerobic (that require oxygen) or
anerobic (that don't require oxygen) organisms. In general the former is found
in Cooling Towers and the later in closed circuit systems.
Another very important reason for
using Cooling Tower Micro Biocides in cooling towers is to prevent the growth
of Legionella, including species that cause legionellosis or Legionnaires'
disease, most notably L. pneumophila, or Mycobacterium avium. The various
Legionella species are the cause of Legionnaires' disease in humans and
transmission is via exposure to aerosols—the inhalation of mist droplets
containing the bacteria. Common sources of Legionella include cooling towers
used in open recirculating evaporative cooling water systems, domestic
hot water systems, fountains, and similar disseminators that tap into a public
water supply.
Micro biocides function in
eradication of sulfate reducing bacteria, aerobic and anaerobic bacteria that
are formed and found in Cooling Tower Water.Micro Biocides are very vital for
Closed and Open Circuit Cooling Water Treatment.
TCF (Totally Chlorine Free) micro
biocides are compatible with heat transfer fluids (HTF) and can be used without
any fear of corrosion of chlorine addition to the system or depletion or
degradation of HTF and corrosion of PHE (plate type heat exchangers)
Chemtex’ s Closed loop Micro
biocide surpasses the performance of other such less effective closed loop treatment
chemicals (such as Nalco 7330, Nalco 77352NA etc.)
Application:
Engine Jacket, Chiller Water
Circuit, Glycol Brine System, Hot Water Circuit, Engine Coolant,
Process chilling and heating etc.
Specification:
Chemical Type:Organic/Inorganic Chemical Compound (TCF)
Form:Liquid
Specific Gravity:Ranges from 1.0 – 1.2 depending upon product
Solubility:Completely Soluble in Water
Dosage:
The amount of Closed Loop Biocide
required to inhibit or remove bio fouling depends on the type of system,
application, re-circulating fluid property and plant operating conditions. The
specific dosage rates will be specified by the CSL technical
representative.

Erosion is a natural process that has constantly shaped the
Earth's surface. Its imprints are evident in almost any landscape in the world.
People may not notice but nature’s forces are accountable for reshaping the
lands. Dubbed as the agents of erosion, wind and water are responsible for the
greatest landmarks the world has ever seen.
These agents cause the various forms of erosion—mudslide and
avalanche. People on the lookout for the latest technology on erosion control would know that land
could move very fast. Others, on the other hand, take careful and detailed
inspection to determine if erosion is actually happening. It is sometimes so inconspicuous
that only trained eyes can conclude that there is a movement that took place. In fact, water running on a hill has the
capacity to leave behind a massive spot on the earth—the size of Grand Canyon.
Erosion agents displace sediments, soil, and even rock that
cause huge changes on the earth’s surface. This natural process is so strong
that it is known to relocate ground elements the size of a mountain. Water erosion washes away particles that
resemble waves carrying sand away from shore. Wind erosion, on the other hand, carves
mountains with tiny pebbles. This process can transform a tiny crevice into a
gaping hole.
It is considered very harmful to harness erosion control in the hands of
untrained professionals. Fortunately, there are instances when natural erosion gave
the world with fascinating landmarks. One famous landmark is the Grand Canyon
in Arizona that stretches to Colorado. This awe-inspiring landscape overwhelms
Americans and the world alike with its massive size.
How the Grand Canyon came to be is a topic that spurs
constant dispute among geologists. However, new studies show that the Colorado
River carved its path through the canyon approximately 17 million years ago. The
current features, revealing almost two billion years of earth history, came to
being when the Colorado River continued flowing and eroding the Canyon that
people know today.
Lastly, the Checkerboard Mesa in Zion Natural Park, Utah is
one also one of erosion’s masterpieces. It is a mass of sandstone known for its
large cross bed that resembles a checkerboard. The cross bed was formed with
sediments being eroded. The process is then repeated when another overlying set
of sediments gets eroded. Each layer—which wouldn’t be in existence if
authorities opted for erosion control—is
in an entirely different orientation. The vertically lines, on the other hand,
formed through the slowly shifting pressures on the rock.

The package arrives at your doorstep along with a friendly smile from your local deliveryman.
http://www.simpakinternational.com/product.html
Article :
The package arrives at your doorstep along with a friendly smile from
your local deliveryman. You sign the receipt to confirm that you got
the package, the man accidentally drops the box and you hear a loud
shattering sound inside; there goes your stuff. There’s got to be a way
to make sure your items remain intact.
Whether an expensive vase or a blockbuster on Blu-Ray, parcel
delivery has one motto: “Handle with care.” Not only will delivery firms
will be held responsible for mishandling items, but they may also be
unable to recover the damaged goods. What if the parcel contained a very
rare item? Even if they pay you back, you might not get a second chance
to get that item again. Most couriers make it a habit to keep
deliveries wrapped in cushion material such as bubble wrap; but would
that be enough?
Enter foam packaging: the latest method of protecting fragile parcels
in case they get accidentally dropped. Like bubble wrap or those little
foamy follicles that fill the entire box, foam packaging uses an
innovative solution: get a “bean bag” for fragile items like vases and
computer parts and let them take care of the rest during shipping.
This “bean bag” is filled with polystyrene beads packed and sealed
tight in a bag made out of high-strength plastic film. The bags slowly
take the shape of the item being shipped, forming a soft barrier to
protect it from shock or other turbulent forces. They can either
completely envelop the item or act as side walls for bigger items.
As with most resins, foam packaging
is totally clean and green. It uses recycled foam to fill bags used for
packaging. With the advent of green technology, manufacturers are
expected to use more recycled foam in the future. This will help reduce
landfill deposits and cut down manufacturing costs.
Why throw something to the landfill when you can still use it for a couple more years? This is the secret behind foam in place packaging
and its green factor: recycling foam for use in production for even
more bean bags. Rather than let it end up in the biggest trash cans on
Earth, makers of foam packaging may reuse foam and give it a second life
as a packaging material.
While the deliveryman will still handle packages with care, foam packaging
still serve as a good backup just in case. Check out videos and more
information on this nifty “bean bag” for parcels at
